CANNON has started building plants for the continuous production of polyurethane insulated metal panels for applications such as roofing, roof insulation, walls, sectional doors, prefabricated structures, ducts and air-conditioning systems. Its first installation has gone on line at Lattenodil in Italy to produce more than 2,000,000 [m.sup.2] of panels per year. The line is more than 100 m long and includes two pairs of metal sheet decoilers, and a profiling unit for shaping the metal sheet connected to a pre-heating oven. Its maximum speed is 15 m/minute with varying thicknesses up to 200 mm.
