NSW: Thieves drive off with van and electrical equipment
Police say thieves have stolen a van containing $100,000 worth of electrical and photographicequipment in Sydney's CBD.
The New South Wales police say the driver of a white 1997 Ford Transit panel van parkedon a footpath in King Street was delivering goods to a nearby store when thieves struckabout 1.30 pm (AEST) yesterday.
A spokesman says the vehicle -- with registration plate YKG 511 -- contained threelarge screen television, Sony digital cameras, minidisk walkmans and numerous other accessories.
